Neighorhood Dinner

Tonight we went up and joined the Mills and Houston's for dinner in South Fork . . . The best part of the evening was the every so FRIENDLY camp host who had nothing better to do than harass us and Manning Family for paying $7.00 to join out friends for dinner.  I snagged some of Tiffany's photo collages since she has the picture of me she was taking when I took her picture.

First of all, I hate this picture of Sam, but the truth is this is the ONLY pose he was capable of doing with his arm injured for photos!?!?  Seriously Mr. Photographer you could of had him hold his helmet of a football in one arm or something . . . he looks like a bear in the woods trying to go to the bathroom.  ARRRGGGHH!

DJ Hero - House Party

 
I NEVER EVER win anything  . . . let alone something fun!

So I was super excited when my neighbor Tiffany told me about this website called HouseParty.com where you can sign up to have house party's featuring a variety of household items, such as, Rubber Maid, Febreeze, and DJ Hero. 

Micah and I got two turn tables, the game and a 24 pack of Coca Cola bottles and invited over the neighborhood for an evening of DJ Hero.  All I did was put out some sweet treats, Sadie made the CUTEST cupcakes to look like vinyl records, I found some glow sticks at Wal-Mart, as well as, some bracelets and straws to match.

Today the 'boys' and I had an early day . . . we had a filming crew coming to interview Sam and Micah & I to feature Sam as a youth who has not only graduated from the program, but has used the skills and techniques necessary to be successful.

I really thought the interview would be something easy, but once she started to ask questions about how I felt about Sam I was completely lost in emotions.  And Sam was a Pro - it was like he was given a script and just knew what to say. 

We are looking forward to seeing the finished product this October.

My New Summer Tradition

This summer I was able to do some more canning and I have to say that I LOVE it!

Last year I made Apricot-Pineapple, however, 

this year I made Peach, Strawberry and Apricot-Pineapple Jam.
